Depending on what you teach, you may qualify for this forgiveness program if you’re a teacher in North Dakota.
If you teach in North Dakota at a grade level or in a content area identified as a teacher shortage area, you may qualify for this award. You must be a licensed teacher with a full-time contract for at least nine months.
If you’re eligible, you can receive up to $1,000 each year you teach in a shortage area, with a maximum total of $3,000.
