Being a nurse is a demanding job. If you’re an RN, certain positions may help you pay back your nursing loans.
If you’re a registered nurse or an advanced-practice registered nurse, you may be eligible for this award. You must work in a critical shortage facility or an accredited school of nursing.
If you meet the requirements, you can receive up to 60% of your loans paid for with a two-year service agreement. You can also apply for a third year for an additional 25% of the remaining balance.

• Consolidation loans
• Perkins loans
• Private student loans
Note: You must have obtained your loans to cover nursing educational expenses or living expenses while studying nursing. Non-nursing education expenses are ineligible.
